The Center for Meditative and Healing Arts
is located in Redding, California at 3304B Bechelli Lane
The Center for Meditative and Healing Arts is dedicated to improving and promoting physical, mental, emotiona, and spiritual health and well-being. 

Basic Concept:  Tension and stress affect us physically and emotionally and produce toxins in our bodies.  Without proper physical and emotional release, these accumulated toxins form various sizes of clusters affecting our internal organs and our physiology, causing blockages in our energy flow and thus creating aches and pains, contributing to if not causing various illnesses.  Proper relaxation techniques restore the natural flow of energy throughout the entire body, thus reducing or hopefully eliminating physical and emotional stress and tension. 


About Meditation

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years.  Originally and still to this day, meditation is a tool to help deepen understaning of one's self, spirituality, and life forces in general.  These days, meditation is more commonly practiced for relaxation and stress reduction, aiding in clearing away the information overload that builds up every day, contibuting to stress.

Meditation is an umbrella term for the many ways to a relaxed state of being.  There are many types of meditation and relaxation techniques which have meditative components.  All share the same goal of achieving inner peace.

Types of Meditation can include:
  • Yoga
  • Qi Gong
  • T’ai Chi
  • Meditation
  • Meditation Dance.

The Bohemian Art Loft offers a particularly beautiful and tranquil setting for learning and practicing the meditative arts, uniquely suited to facilitating attainment of peace.

Director, Nadia Hava-Robbins, BA, MA holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy/Psychology and a Master's of Arts degree in Counseling & Guidance and is also an ordained Minister.  A life-long dancer, she has practiced and taught the meditative and healing arts for over 40 years.  She draws inspiration from Terence Dunn and Master Jesse Tsao for T'a Chi, T'ai Chi Sword/Fan, Master
Tsung Hwa Jou for T'ai Chi, Qi Gong, and meditation, Grand Master Yun Xiang Tseng for Qi Gong and meditation, Terrence Webster-Doyle for his insights into the martial arts, Richard Hittleman concerning Yoga, and Adyashanti for meditation.  She has studied with the late T'ai Chi Master, Franklin Loius Drew, Jonathan Tani, and Carmelo Farruggia.  She is a Qigong and T'ai Chi practitioner, and an American Tai Chi and Qigong Association certified instructor.  She has also published the book "Qi - A Window to T'ai Chi, Qi Gong, and Meditation". Her guidance has a clear message:  “Meditative Arts are a way of life.”
