The Dao (The Way) is the natural order of things.  "Things are what they are" is the basic principle of Zen.  From Wu Chi (stillness) to T'ai Chi (motion) back to Wu Chi is the natural cycle of life. The circle of the opposites, the Yin Yang, represents the constant motion of change, as in black fading through grey to white, back through shades of grey to black.  Silence is the best teacher, always there to show The Way. Stop trying, simply DO.  Take the path of the least possible resistance and actions will become effortless.  Accept what is in front of you without wanting the situation to be other than it is.  Contemplate the natural order of things and work with it rather than against it, for trying to change "what is" only sets up resistance.  Come to meditation with an open heart each time like a newborn child.  This is the first step toward the light (enlightenment).  This is The Way.

Individual Meditation Guidance
is a process focusing on an individual's personal and spiritual inquiry and path.  Through various meditative techniques one strives to discover Satori or enlightenment, a new way of perceiving, and peace.

"It doesn't matter whether one is brand new to meditation or has been meditating for a long time.  What matters is the attitude with which we engage the process of meditation. The most important thing is that we come to meditation with an open attitude, an attitude that is truly innocent, by which I mean an attitude that's not colored by past, by what we've heard about meditation through culture, through the media, or through our various spiritual and religious traditions.  We need to approach the notion of meditation in a way that is fresh and innocent."  from "True Meditation" by Adyashanti

True inquiry in meditation means complete deconstruction of all of our rigid mental patterns and habits, as well as the deconstruction of all of our limiting beliefs.

"Make no mistake about it - enlightenment is a destructive process.  It has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier.  Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth.  It's seeing through the facade of pretense.  It's the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true."  from "The End of Your World" by Adyashanti
